As reported ValeTudo.ru the press service of the Russian promotion of FIGHT NIGHTS, domestic Hasan Avenue "Cobra" Umalatov signed the contract with Ultimate Fighting Championship promotion on 6 duels.

Umalatov will act in light-middleweight (that is will go down one category below) weight. It debuts in the oktagena on February 1 on the UFC 169 tournament by fight against the American fighter Neil Megni.

The 31-year-old resident of Astrakhan Umalatov (14-2-1) won eight of nine last duels, in an asset of the Russian fighter of 9 early victories (7 – delivery of the rival, 2 – KO/TKO). In TUF 16 Nile battled for Shane Karvin's team; within show it passed Cameron Diffli and Bristol Marunde, but was knocked out in a semi-final by Mike Richie.
